Topic $100 Laptops?

It might be helpful, but who in those countries has 100$ to pay for the laptop?

And besides, a laptop is not enough for anything, you need internet connection to do anything with a laptop.

In developing countries people don't have the money, and sometimes the infrastructure for an internet connection, so what will those who get these laptops do with it? Play solitaire whole day long?

As quoted below, its a special interest project for use in Africa and other poor countries. It will not be released to the Western Market. An interesting feature is that it has no power supply, its runs on static electricity which is charged by the hand-crank at the right.
