I remember when the MC68060 66 mhz accellerator card was the cream of the crop, I could not afford one and ended up with an Apollo 68040 40 mhz with 16 mb of additional fast ram and a Picasso IV graphics card for my tower system, a pretty good system in my humble opinion. The good feeling of booting the Workbench 3.1 in high resolution and true colors was fantastic and in my humble opinion it is the real thing, or nothing.
