I grew up in a small town where a few shops and hair dressers, etc, had the street number in their company name. Studio 19 was the "hot fashion chick" place to be, NH At 1 was for the lastest records (ahem, before the CDs kids, before the CDs).
Now companies have "1" in their name, which is annoying as hell - like the bank "Sparebank1" and the estate dealers "Eiendomsmegler1". Even people use "1" in their name for some odd reason. |
