The original would/can get pretty complex under certain levels but nothing the junk bonds cheat cant fix...hehehe
Then again don't know what kind of morals that would instill in an 8 year old...LOL
I know I was pretty young when this thing first came out (10) and my grandparents where pretty impressed when I started talking about stocks, company values, and hostile take overs at that age....LOL
Give it a shot it will def get him learning when he isn't realizing it
BTW I am talking about the original the newer one they dumbed down a bit, it's still good though
