| Post - Why is LISP needed?
In the university I'm learning I have an obligatory course in which we learn Scheme, which is a dialect of LISP.
Needless to say, the syntax of the language is the most annoying syntax I've ever seen.
From what I know LISP is an ancient language, and the question that I can't help but ask, is why the hell anybody still needs this terrible language, and is it currently used for anything? |
