Yes indeed, they will still increase and get faster it's still however a big jump from 50GB to 500GB. Which I think is a good thing regarding Server use. Even if it's not avalible now that I know of which is a shame (it always is)

Doesn't feel that long since I last used a computer without hard drive with that massive memory capacity and those extreemly small disketts, even if it has passed a "few" years since You're probebly seen far "less" modern wonders then me considering your older then me but i've seen my fair share

Did use the early Siemens programming computers that originated from the 80ies that was semi portable (they only weight 20 KG, yes a modern desktop computer is more protable then that one is), but they ware suprisingly modern compared to the PC's that ware avalible at the time that I have used in my life, only issue was to remember to lock down that hard drive, or you would have a serious issue on your hands! They are suprisingly still used today more then 20 years later, even though the programs have been ported to DOS for Modern portable computers. Most older companies still own a few as backup

The S5 systems (not sure if a army guy like yourself know what I'm refering to but someone might) are being phased out more and more with modern S7 systems, but it takes many years to compleetly face them out as production may never stop!
