But what system or email exactly do you want to run it on? You know chat systems are based on protocols, such as jabber (used by google talk), ICQ, MSN, Yahoo. So unless you actually state which on of those protocols you want to use, its is kind of hard to know what you may want. Another thing is knowing which one is also commonly used by the people you want to communicate with, since you cannot communicate with different protocols.

Some chat softwares such as trillian do support multiprotocols ( it can be used for google talk, msn, ICQ, yahoo and others). |
