Just hit 16,784 on all the default settings, and I'll keep inching that cpu higher. The vid cards won't go higher without better cooling, but that is well in the future.
Right now I'm running the QX6800 266Mhz X 13 mult, about 3.47 Ghz total. I'm scraping 57-60C now, but the thermal paste is fresh, a break-in might earn me a few more degrees. I probably won't hit the initial goal of 3.7 without something fancier. In the future I'll look into a TEC block and get some real high end cooling on there, but I ain't disappointed for now. |
