Well I am going to buy Vista Ultimate just because as a IT professional I want to get going on the new tech. I did test it under Beta 2, and found that while it was improvement over XP it was just that merely an improvement, not an evolution. Mac OS 10.4 it is not. My company is evulating the business premium edition but we are not going to upgrade for at least a year.
The biggest problem I had with beta 2 is the drivers, a problem that is still not fully resolved, espically with the 64 bit version.
For home user, if you do decide to buy Vista make sure you get the 32bit version for now, the 64 bit isnt worth it yet... |
