I encountered major problems installing Ubuntu (a re-install that is) last night, the GRUB loader freeze the machine and returns error 18, all software is installed with no problems.
On your problem mmarsh I have the same issue installing Windows, everything freeze and nothing happens, so I have to remove all PCI cards installed in the machine except the graphics card prior installation. |
