So far it has been working great and stopping all spam. You can select it to either check both registrations and posts or just registrations. It has a built in cache feature if for some reason the server is not able to be accessed so the posts will be made. One thing I do like is if the spam gets through it makes it much easier to clean up. As for the post verification I don't believe it takes the entire post but just the user info to verify against a list to see if the user name and or IP is on a blacklist.

I haven't really tried any of the other ones because they involved a lot of time, this takes about 20mins.

I think this will be rendered obsolete when phpBB3 gets released, which it seems RC1 is just around the corner. I personally would like to get vB but at this time I can not justify the cost, however that may change with a project I want to get off the ground.
