That was really back in the "good old days" when a game could be created by only 1 or 2 persons..
The ending of that game has always been bugging me, but I believe that Mr. Chahi made it that way on purpose so that we would have to use our imagination to find out what happened..
That's also probably the reason why he never wanted to make a sequel as well...
