I think that a lot of people do not build because they are scared. Most people don't realize that they can learn a lot by building their own rig. As long as they have someone to consult with, they would be fine.
A couple positives that can come out of building your own rig:
1. Knowledge that you didn't have before.
2. Exact configuration you need/want. Nothing more, nothing less.
3. Easy upgrade path. You can always upgrade when you build it.
4. You can do the upgrades because you built it. |
