Its not the Worst (that would be Win ME or MS Bob) but its not a stunning success either.
In one fell swoop MS managed to take what worked well in XP (performance, compatibility) and make it utterly abysmal, while taking what worked poorly in XP (weak security) and made it completely overbearing (UAC).
And aside from a cosmetic changes in order to copy OS 10 nothing is really worth the price of admission. |
