I use a logitech wireless mouse and yes, the mouse can be used while it is recharging. (Otherwise it would be pretty much useless!) A wireless mouse and a wireless keyboard are some of the most ergonomic device purchases I have made. Sometimes I sit on the bed and do my computing from a distance.
