Post - Ok, but I'm not sure if it's best to swim south of England or not...

Just came across this one of a Norwegian news site..

According to Google the shortest (best??) way from New York to Oslo (Norway) is to swim 3462 miles across the Atlantic Ocean and them go up again in France and take the roads from there..

But I'm not so sure if that's the best way or not yet.
It could be easier just to swim north of the UK and go directly ashore in Norway..

But it also suggests that you go ashore in France if you're going to London, so I'm not sure if I trust these directions or not anymore since everyone knows that it's best to swim to Germany first to pick up some German beer before heading over to London again..
