Gosh, I remember being advised to buy up alt domains years ago when I was in a different niche; now except for branding and typo traffic it's kinda a big 'who cares'.
Now, I must say that I DID have some problems with folks coming in on the alt domains and having trouble logging in to my IPBoard. I am told this is on the part of their server (I host with them, too) and not necessarily a specific issue with the domain forwarding...
