There are so many Content Management systems out there now that allow you to create a pro looking website with ease for the non-coder. I think getting an info portal on a specific subject that has not yet been exploited is a good place to start then use ads on the site with google adsense or similar.
It would take a lot of sites to actually make something of it but once one site is up its done, time to move on to the next.
