Star Control 2: The Ur-Quan Masters was/still is one of my favorite (retro) games.
Anyone who's tried it??
I've just found a remake of the original game, and I've really enjoyed to finish it once again.
It took me a few weeks since I generally don't have too much time to play games right now, but it was great fun and this is retro gaming at it's best..

Star Control 2 was (and still is) the best by far of the Star Control triology.
The game play still is great, the story is still really good and filled with humor, so I was really excited when I found this new remake for windows.
The graphics was state-of-the-art when it was released, but it may seem a bit outdated today, although the remake has updated graphics/anti-aliasing so it doesn't look too bad.
They have also made remakes of the original music.

There are also some fresh rumors of a Star Control 4 that continues where Star Control 2 stopped, and if that's true then I'll certainly be first in line to order it.
It still a great game IMO, so I recommend you to download and try it.
