Post - Best War Simulation Games

Which do you think is the best war simulation game?

This is my favourites list - (You may agree or disagree)

MOH: Pacific Assault

Call of Duty

Battlefield 1942

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon

Pacific Storm

And also the Star Wars series though its Sci-Fi Combat sim.

I love Call of Duty, Battlefield 1942, and the Medal of Honor Series. I can't get Pacific assault to work on my computer (it lags like crazy) and I have to say that I HATE Ghost Recon. Call of Duty 4 is quite good among the modern war games, which I usually can't stand.

The term War simulators is very vague... and most of the games I see here are FPS, which like COD are good but more like video games than simulators.

I like hardcore sims so

IL-2 1946.

Silent Hunter 4.

ARMA -This is the most realistic FPS ever made.

Company of Heroes

Red Baron (1995)

I loved BF1942 although people hated me for shooting up our own tanks with the anti-aircarft weapons.

Beyond that I think COD was a lot of fun as well.

All of them in my opinion are great, except Medal of honor, if your talking which would have more realcism, medal of honor sucks. But I'm extremely fond of COD for it's storyline, BF1942 for it's team-focused play and massive maps, and Ghost recon for it's tactical and reality of if you get hit more than once, you're dead, depending on where you get hit.

CoD's storylines are really addictive. So addictive that I stopped playing CoD4 for a week because the story pissed me off.

That was easy! I beat it first shot. Well, I beat all the missions first shot except for the All Ghuilled up mission..... that was just brutal....
