About advertising online, you can buy google adwords, yahoo adwords place banner on different related websites.

There are some free websites that offer advertising. They won't be beneficial once you're company begins to pull in big numbers, but they help when you're starting. I know that entrecard.com is one. You can advertise on other people's sites so long as you let other people have a little advertisement on yours. You can approve or deny the ads as you see fit, so you're not forced to advertise a site you don't want to. Some other sites require you to click on member's sites and review them and people do the same with yours.
