But I saw a banner ad on one of the pages I've been to lately that said that the PS3 was coming down in price, I was thinking it said to around $169. I flashed by the page so fast, that I didn't catch if it was a sale, or a permanent thing. Anyone else hear this?

I would doubt that, it seems more likely that the PS2 maybe in other countries will be coming down in price to that level. It is already pretty cheap now in the USA. I would think it would take a good amount of time before the PS3 ever gets down to that price.

Wow, I haven't seen anything like that. I wish it would come down in price because there is no way I will ever be getting one at the price it is now.

I haven't seen that banner yet, but i think it could be possible maybe they have made so many PS3s and sold so few they need to get them sold.
