Post - Cases

Well I need me a new case, I'm looking at full towers (it is for my main crazy gaming uber machine) since I need a lot of a room and a lot of cooling capabilities.

I'm not looking into the liquid cooled market, I'll stick with air for now. However I am looking for something that is somewhat toolless, has a slide out or some how removable mobo tray, and a lot of capacity. I'm not just talking drive bay but capacity for wiring and cooling fans.

Some of the cases I have been looking at:

I have seen this one cheaper

I'm looking between the 100 and 200 dollar range...any ideas/comments?

I have this case and I love it.

It is stunning to view and it is also extremely high performance and very quiet. It takes longer to put together then your average case because the PS unit is mounted in its own compartment on the bottom. It is the best engineered computer cases I have ever seen. I have the black version.

I've been a Chieftec "fan" for many years now, and I really like my Chieftec Dragon case.
It's got plenty of space, Slide in/out system for CD/DVD, 2x Hard drive Boxes that can take up to 3 drives each, many case fan slots with quick fit system, USB/Firewire in front, real easy to open the side of the case (just one handle) etc. etc..

They've also got several other good cases

And if you like to "pimp your case" then it's possible to get
a side panel window as well so you can see all the shiny bits 'n pieces inside...

Well those are some pretty sweet cases that I am going to have to take into account. However I have started to lean towards the Thermaltake Kandalf VA9000, it's pretty sick plus it's a super tower

The quest shall continue....

edit-

This one is much better than the above IMO

http://www.xoxide.com/thermaltake-ar...0mm-black.html thoughts?

Then again this one should really cure all over heating problems

It's HUGE and heavy (40 punds!!), but it's rather nice looking anyway....
Shouldn't have any problems with the cooling with that 250mm fan.
Found a review of it here:

Size is not the issue for this one...I want space and lots of it I am sick of having my stuff all crammed into a mid-tower case... Just being able to spread things out will help cooling considerably...

Plus I want something that I can expand upon into the future...

Since this will be in the office or as I like to call it the "Lair" I dont really care about size but more about uber geekness

If you're not going to move it much then it's probably very good.
But as the review I posted says: Be prepared to hire a forklift if you're going to move it..

Yeah this thing isn't going to be moved much...

Look at this crazy contraption:

Yes that is a 350mm fan on the side

I'm really torn between the Xcilo Wind Tunnel and the Thermaltake Armor...Oh the dilemma

To bad this cool master wasn't in a Full Tower config. I just have to much crap in my case

I went with this case:

When it arrives I'll discuss my thoughts

You went for the big one..

Looks really good, looking forward to seeing a review of it.
The 250mm fan looks pretty impressive, it doesn't have a lot of RPMs but with that size it shouldn't matter much..
