Post - Cheap domain registration - Not Spam!

I'm not sure if this is a commonly known website, but its the cheapest site I've come across to register a domain.

http://domainsarefree.com/ - $3.99 for a .com

Thought I'd share it for everyone else

Hm, "You get what you pay for" are in most cases certainly true for domains as well, and domainsarefree.com may be cheap but I've heard a lot of bad stories about them on domain related forums so I have never bothered to test them myself yet..

I see that they only allow 1 cheap registration pr week, so this it not a good service for domain speculators anyway but it could probably be an ok and cheap way for someone to test their first domain name..

That's not the cheapest domain price that I've seen available...I'd go with GoDaddy or Yahoo for registration before going to a site like this.

Sounds like a pretty good deal, but I wonder how they can be making any profit. I doubt they are a registar which would mean that they would have to be reselling from someone. I am wondering if it is just a stunt to get some sales, and then they will bring the price back up.

Domainsarefree.com are owned by Globat.com, so it seems like it's just a way to "trick" costumers to them by offering cheap domain regs (only 1 reg per week...).
