Post - The Datalk New Years "Treasure Hunt"

The Datalk New Years "Treasure Hunt" will soon begin, so if you register now you'll also have a chance to win some of our great prizes!

Somewhere among the next 2000 (or so) posts I've "hidden" 3-4 different prizes, like 1GB and 2GB USB memory sticks, and a couple of other surprises...

How can you find these "treasures"???
It's easy, just post and when you reach the "magic post number" you will be notified of what you've won..
I've picked 3 random numbers between 200 and 2000, and when you post a post with the same number as one of those three random ones you win!
It's as easy as that..

The numbers have already been posted in three different threads in a hidden forum, and when someone reaches a "magic number" I will move the thread containing the number and the "treasure" info into the "Inner Circle" forum so you can see when someone wins.

How to find the post number??
That's also quite easy.
Example: Datalk.com Rules, Information and Disclaimer
If you look at the right side of the blue bar above the post content here you can see "Post 13", and that's the post number (unique for every post)

Stay tuned, more info will be posted on the "treasures" and the "treasure hunt" soon.

Please post any questions you may have to this in our questions forum:

The three "treasures" you can win for now are (in random order):
UPGRADED, see the post below this one!

Corsair Flash Voyager 2GB USB2.0, 21/29MB sec
http://www.corsairmemory.com/corsair...memory.html#fv

Corsair Flash Voyager 1GB USB2.0, 5/24MB sec read/write
http://www.corsairmemory.com/corsair...memory.html#fv

Kingston Datatraveler Mini Fun 1GB, USB2.0, Yellow
http://www.kingston.com/flash/dt_mf.asp?id=2

They will most probably be shipped from Norway and postage will be paid by me, but I take no responsibility for any local taxes/customs fees (or similar) you may have to pay when you get the prize...

If one of the forums staff should happen to get the "magic post number" then member who gets the closest post number above that one wins.
(the staff are not part of the competition)

But beware, members who breaks the forum rules (spams) to increase their post count just to win these prizes will be disqualified, and quite possibly banned..

This is the first of several competitions I will launch here at Datalk in the near future, so stay tuned for more info..

Technology moves forward quickly, so we have to follow there as well..

So because of recent price drops the 3 first items have been upgraded to the following:
Kingston Datatraveler Mini Fun 2GB, USB2.0, Purple
http://www.kingston.com/flash/dt_mf.asp?id=2

Corsair Flash Voyager GT, 2GB USB2.0, 21/34MB sec w/r speed, ReadyBoost, SLC
http://www.corsairmemory.com/corsair...memory.html#fv

Corsair Flash Voyager GT, 4GB USB2.0, 25/34MB sec w/r speed, ReadyBoost, SLC
http://www.corsairmemory.com/corsair...memory.html#fv

Vere getting really close to the first of the three prices now, so just keep on posting..
