Post - Defender of the Crown - Cinemaware (1986-88)

Quote:
Defender of the Crown is a strategy computer game by Cinemaware, and designed by Kellyn Beck. It was originally released for the Commodore Amiga in 1986. In 1987 it was ported to DOS, the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), Atari ST, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64, Macintosh and finally, the Apple IIGS in 1988. With its release on the Amiga, Defender of the Crown set a new standard for graphic quality in home computer games.

This was also one of my favorite games (a loooong time ago)..
The graphics was great, and the gameplay even better.

And best of all, I've just discovered that Cinemaware has an online version of the original Defender of the Crown at their site!

(needs a free registration with Cinemaware in order to play it)

Nice, eh??

My friends and I had a great time playing this game back then. We used to gather around at a friends house to play non stop during the weekends - I remember once my friends mother cut the power to his room in order to get us out to do something else. We just gathered at my place instead
