Post - Fastest Way to generate traffic to a site

Is there any surefire methods to generate genuine traffic to a new website?
Any good websites you know of that has articles etc on this kind of stuff would be greatly appreciated.

Hm, the fastest way to generate traffic to your site is probably to buy traffic, but it's not very recommended to use "buy cheap traffic here" kind of sites since most of them just sends you automated/spider traffic that are worth nothing to you...

Most of the ways to instantly generate good and targeted traffic will cost you money, and the best ones out there IMO are Google Adwords and Yahoo Search Marketing.
I use Google Adwords myself with good success on a couple of sites, but it will cost you a bit so it's not recommended on sites you don't (plan to) make money from, and I also recommend to do some research on what keywords/phrases to use since it's very easy to blow your entire budget on unrelated clicks (I learned that the hard way myself in the beginning.. )

Other ways could be to buy text links and/or banner ads on popular and related sites to yours.
That doesn't have to cost too much (normally from $20/month and up), and you can be lucky and get some real good traffic from those.
You could also post on forums with relevant content to your sites and link to your site from your signature.

But the most important (and best) way to generate traffic is of course to create quality content that people like and wants to link to and share with friends.
And you could try to submit your content/sites to Digg and similar sites since that may bring in some nice traffic if you're lucky.

And you of course should SEO your site so it ranks good in the search engines (but that will take some time..)

Article writing and social bookmarking. My sites are content sites. I post new content every Thursday and have it social bookmarked. New traffic builds everyweek.

Yup, agree. Good contents must bring benefits to your readers. If it does, people are more likely to read them.

Then, when other bloggers know that their readers will likely to be interested in your topic as well, you will get a link from their blogs.

All the incoming links are good in terms of SEO.

I'm sure you've heard the phrase, Content is King .

In addition it's known that blogs attract a great deal of traffic primarily because there are so many options when it comes to driving traffic to a blog. With all of the pinging services, it's hard to not get visitors to your blog, provided you give them something to read .

Beside Google Adwords and other PPC advertising programs, there's no easy and fast way to bring big amount of good traffic.
And Adwords costs loads of money.

Good traffic comes slowly, you have to build quality backlinks, create good content, and little by little, you'll begin to see the traffic coming in.

Its not a tough task to generate traffic. But to have regular visitors is hard one. We can easily generate traffic by posting some new topics and content to our sites. Thus traffic is generated automatically.

The fastest way to get heavy traffic would have to be to offer money for doing nothing. You may not be able to afford this but this is by far the most effective way.

Trying to speed your traffic stats might not be the wisest approach to getting your site going, unless you just want the stats to attract advertisers outside of Google.

Look at your niche, and see what boards and blogs serve them, then go to them and, without spamming of course, strut your knowledge on the subjects at hand. There is nothing better than impressing people with your familiarity with a niche, in getting its members' attention.
