Post - Gothic 3 - Anyone tried it yet?

I've just tested a demo of gothic 3, and it looks quite good.
But after reading through a few reviews online it seems like the first version(s) was filled with bugs so I just wondered if anyone have bought it and if the new patches have taken care of the bugs??

Latest patch notes:

Quote:
With invading Orcs enslaving the human kingdom, only a handful of rebels remain hiding in the forests and mountains of Midland. Choose between joining the rebellion or serve the Orcish Usurpers, but you will ultimately tip the scales and decide the outcome of the last war to save humanity. Gothic III provides a living world where the players can freely choose the way they want to play; whether exploring the world and enjoying its rich and enchanted atmosphere or following a darker path, and even ultimately destroying it. Every choice and action the player makes will directly echo and affect the world of Gothic, creating a life-like environment and allowing for complex character interaction.

Bought it last week, since the demo looked great...
But it still got a few bugs..

Just a word of warning if some of you decide to buy it as well;
Uninstall the demo befor installing the retail version!
The savegames from the demo works on the retail version, but the game crashes later on if you use them.
I learned that when I reached level 20 (5-6 hours or so of play time), and now I have to start all over again....

This one is a shame. Most reviewers said it would have been excellent had CDV simply taken time to squash the bugs. I will pass for now, but maybe I pick it up on a bargain bin after its been patched.

The game is pretty good, so I just don't hope I run into any serious bugs when I start all over again now...

Better than Oblivion? I'm more of a DnD Fan so I going to do NWN2 first (after I finish HOTU).
