Hi!

HostGator is one fine webhost and they're sure pulling in more customers with their 1 cent promo. I'm with byethost but I think I'll buy some space at HostGator once I get serious with site developing.

I tried Host Gator because of tne cent coupon too. I liked their service so I stayed for about a year. I shifted to another hosting company because I wanted a reseller hosting package. Host Gator's reseller hosting packages are not really cheap.

I haven't tried the Hostgator one cent thing because I think it would cost me way more at the end... Although I'm pretty sure they are a decent web hosting company with great features...

The 1cent hosting is good well when i tried it i tried it for 1 month and then i closed the account after the 1month so to me it was a trial, but it was good because it was better than the free hosts, and it was even better because they take unverified paypal and i can't find much good webhosts that allow unverified paypal.

I <3 Hostgator. They offer superb deals and their hosting is top of the line. Everytime i make a new website i usualy go to them or my friends host to support him. Hostgator is only $0.01 the first month. Then if you want, you can quit after the first month then buy another package if you want to go through the trouble. Thats $0.02 right there for 2 months!

Would you be allowed to do that on the same name? I'm sure there must be something in the T&C's that doesn't allow you to do that.

Its should be genaral sense that one cannot do it. After one month they will delete the website if they get no payment. And then one will have to start over again for his website which is more pain staking. Host gator introduced this offer for users to sample their services, i am sure they are smarter than most of us and do have some preventive measure for those who cheat their system.
