Hi!

Are they donation or generosity? Maybe you mean subdomaining. Where you buy a domain and let other take a subdomain off that domain.

Maybe this will help you...

I'm not really sure what you're talking about either, so some more clarification would have been nice.

Found this on a Google search, is it this you're talking about??

I understand what you are trying to say, sometime back, I also wanted to purchase for someone a domain, but not have them use my godaddy account to use it (since I have my personal domains), and the process of transferring domains was also more money. But i never really found a way of buying someone a domain in their name.

Maybe this will clarify for others to be able to answer this question.

How about you buy a domain from Godaddy or Namecheap. Then afterwards just push the domain name to the other person. Domain pushing is free.

Does that sound okay?

Ah, I see..
If you're talking about buying a domain and then transfer it to another person then that's quite easy and free if you use Godaddy or Namecheap etc.

Just post here if you need any help, and I'll try to post a step-by-step guide on how to transfer/push a domain you've bought to someone else.
