I've seen several places things about social bookmarking. Can someone explain this to me in "English" and "newbie" terms so that I can understand it. Is it similar to having a webring? How do you generate money with it? Or CAN you generate money with it?

Bookmarking is kind of hard to explain so make sure to check out the Wiki page. Also some popular Bookmarking sites are Digg.com and StumbleUpon.com.
