I like the design, very sleek. But I heard there's nothing to crow about it's technical features. It also costs much more than it's competitors. But I'm sure an apple geek would love to add this gadget to his arsenal.

Yes, it is true that iPhone will cost more than its competitors, in which I presume it to be those of smartphones. Having said that, it has created such a buzz now most people want to have one, thank to its sleek outlook.
By the way, many people complaint not being able to install any 3rd party softwares on iPhone. It seems that we will be able to do that soon.

I personally don't want one and I thing the price tag is going to be the death of it. I would never pay that for a phone. Half the features I wouldn't even use to begin with.

That's always the way it is, isn't it? Keeping everything closed makes those things run smoothly. Still, even if it will crash frewquently under 3rd party apps, the iPhone will still make a nice-looking paperweight.
I have no plans to get one, but I am interested in how it will be used to distribute video content and how that will affect collective bargaining agreements in the film business.
