Topic Learning PHP and MySQL

Okay I'm planning to learn PHP...well at least a bit more advanced. None of the flat file call to functions. So I've read up on databases and php.

I've got an Advanced PHP book that teaches the basics to the pro stuff but I probably will need additional information. Does anyone know the books that college students are required to obtain to complete their courses in PHP?

So far I can probably make a login and a basic CMS. I mainly used PHP to make designing easier. Now I want to take it further with some future projects in mind.

I don't know about books, I don't remember reading much books for learning PHP for my final year project. I think it was the learn PHP in 21 days. The school taught us ASP and told us to do a project using PHP, lol the structure is about the same so it should be that hard.

There are good websites out there that have good tutorials and codes for PHP
www.hotscripts.com and www.w3school.com are pretty good places to look at. have fun with PHP

And for PHP you also have www.php.net
It's not good for beginners but I use it a LOT as reference when I'm programming since visitors usually have posted a lot of great code examples there as well as the examples for each of the functions etc. in the online manual there.
