Topic Major programming project underway, input appreciated..

I have recently acquired the domain name Quotes.ws (and Quotations.ws) and I've started to develop a brand new site there now.

Everything will be programmed from scratch by me, so I'll need some input on what you would like to see on a quotes/quotations site like that..

I've already collected around 50,000 quotes (bought some databases, and had a lot from another quotes site I run etc..) from around 6-8000 authors..

The quotes will be sorted in categories, maybe up to 3 different categories for each quote, and sorted by authors.
It will (of course) also be possible to search for quotes.
These are fairly standard features for quotes sites, but I've also planned (and started to program) a few more features that I hope will be useful..

There will be a short biography for most of the authors, and some of the most famous ones will also have images on their main quotes pages.

I will also make it possible to add random quote of the day/quote of the day on other websites, powered by the quotes database on quotes.ws
These features are also available on several similar sites, but I've planned to take it one step further and make it possible to choose what author(s) the quotes are from and/or choose categories, so it's possible to customize the quotes displayed to choose authors/categories that fits the sites best.
I will primarily make Google Gadgets for this, but I may create a script that does this without using Google as well.

It will also be possible to report errors in quotes by clicking a button, and I will make a comment system so it's possible to add comments for each quote to add additional information etc. there..

It will also be possible to customize the style of the entire site by choosing default font type/size/color, and change some other variables as well (will be stored in cookies).

I'm also thinking about creating a personalized start-page on my.quotes.ws where it's possible to choose (random) quote of the day blocks etc...

Any other suggestions to features etc. you would like to see on a page like this?
(like I don't have enough work already..

Wow, I like that idea a lot! I can never get enough quotes after all ^^ Maybe you can add a rating bar to each quote between 1 and 5. The ones who get the highest ratings can be put on a separate page for the most popular.

Also, maybe a comments section beneath each quote would be nice as well, so a user can add their input on the quote in question.
