We're thinking of setting-up a Management Information System using GNU/Linux and MySQL with browsers as front-end. We're still undecided on what scripting language to use. We want to go with known ones like PHP and PERL. Which one is more robust and secure. There might also be another one out there we haven't heard of but we don't really want anything too exotic.
