For the price of the system, I would go better on the cooler; watercooling, maybe. I mean, spending 600 pounds on the processor, you can up the performance for a few dollars on an external system. Along those lines, I love my Thermaltake Kandalf LCS. I know not everyone likes it, but I find it keeps the components cool, the fact that it is fully self contained is very nice, and I was able to get the 2 8800GTXs, water cooling system, and oversized Galaxy PSU in there with just a little bit of work. The case is heavy, of course, but I think it is built well. Its about 32 pounds empty, I think. The semi-dedicated HDD fan is a great touch, keeps them very cool and pulls in much more air.

For the price, I like my Logitech G15 keyboard. The LCD screen is great for watching movies and playing many games, plus it is sleek and well lit. The macros- outstanding. I know many other keyboards also have macro buttons and I don't know yours, but I won't go back without them, I love one button multi-program launches as well as the gaming bonuses.

Last, consider the WD 7500AAKS. I run two in RAID0 in my rig. I originally had Raptors, but returned them to get these. They are just $10 each, but have whopping 750 Gig capacities each. Better, they run as fast as Raptors- my burst transfer speed is 292.1 MB/s, with an average 137.2 sustained. The ONLY area where the Raptor wins is in access time. I have 13.2ms access time. But for all real-world purposes, I have 1.2TB more hard drive space with no sacrafice, a mere $20. No question, I fully would suggest losing the Raptors for these 7200RPM drives. I imagine the slower speed makes it more reliable in addition to the huge capacity jump.

Just a few things to consider, if the list is still changeable!
