Post - I need some suggestions

I like to let my boys play the computer, and have a TON of educational games for them. However, they're getting older and I'd like to have something that is historically educational as well as fun. I would also prefer as little blood shed as possible. Does anyone have any suggestions? My boys are 6 and 9. Thanks!

Do you mean for the PC? Try any of the 'Broken Sword' series, although they could get a little difficult. Apart from that, I can't really think of anything else to recommend. Anyone else got any ideas?

Do you think that a flight simulator would be worth considering?

I guess it would have little to do with history, unless it was a fighting game with a period plane.

I haven't tried any myself, but some of them based on specific areas seem to have pretty accurate geography.

Just try to switch to over Zeldas series. Surely it would have enough fun for your people and really they would enjoy playing these series.

Maybe they would enjoy playing a Online Multi player game like Word of Warcraft, Guildwars and City of Heroes, they are all semi educational when it comes to the business aspect.

Jump start series is good.My kids liked to play them and they are learning games. Also just go to the games sections of your favorite store and you should find educational games there .Putt Putt is good also.Hope this helps.

Flight sims. the combat flight simulator series is historical and is blood free, though you do blow things up.
