With a few important exceptions, Newegg is the best. Their returns policy for defective items is long, the prices are reasonable, they have a bunch of user reviews, and the shipping is very cheap (not free, but so fast).

I just won't buy monitors from them. They don't take returns for dead pixels, as far as I'm aware.

A tiny bit off topic here, but that's probably not Neweggs "fault" since each manufacturer have their own standards of acceptable dead pixels before they accept a return...

I found this table on another site (don't know how old it is)
Laptop Brand / OEM - Bright Dots - Dark Dots - Total Dots
Dell 7 - 7 - 7
IBM 5 to 11 - 5 to 16 - 9 to 16
HP/Compaq 7 - 7 - 9
LG.Philips 6 - 6 - 10
Sharp 7 - 7 - N/A
ScreenTek 3 - 3 - 3

Yeah, I know Newegg isn't alone, but whenever I buy a monitor from a local brick and mortar store I have a much more liberal return policy than most etailers or warranty policies. When you are allowed to make a return simply because you didn't like a product, anything goes for things like dead pixels.

I don't do much Brick and Mortar shopping, but it has advantages on things like that.

On a related note, those that like returning products that are well within the return guidelines should not use Best Buy. They have more horror stories than I can bother repeating with legit returns.

I get everything at newegg even if it means spending the extra dime. The customer service is great if you ever had to talk to them which is rare. I also get delivery's on ground in 2 days, but I'm like 4 hrs away from their warehouse.

I've built several machines from the parts from newegg, I recommend 100%

Post - dependability

Over the last few years I have finally learned a lesson. NewEgg is dependable and hold up their end of the user agreement. I have been burned by another vendor twice and have resorted to buying from NewEgg. I can't say enough good things from this company.
