Post - Newegg

Does anyone here shop from NewEgg? I have found some pretty attractive deals there, but have only ordered a few things. I like how you can view other people's wishlist, so they can build you a computer and you can grab it real fast. Any comments on them?

I have never had any problems with items from NewEgg, however sometimes they are not the cheapest shop in town. I would always consider looking around before purchasing anything, but NewEgg is usually a good place for information at the least.

When I am back in the States I usually get things from them. They are one of the better online companies out there. They might not be the cheapest all the time but its close. They give lots of rebates).

My rule of thumb, its usually better to buy slightly more expensive from a known dealer than by a internet fly-by-night who is a few bucks cheaper.

My advice to you is to get on pricewatch.com, priceshopper or even cnet and then get what you want from the best KNOWN dealers.

My last computer was built entirely from parts from Newegg. You will not find a better online vendor.

I have bought several things from Newegg. The only problem I had was when a printer arrived mangled. Before you buy anything from them, make certain you read their return policy. I believe it varies from product to product, but in my case they wanted me to deal directly with the manufacturer, who thought it should be a vendor issue since it was damaged in shipping.

I really like the stuff they have at Newegg but I haven't actually bought anything from there. I don't really do anything to spice up my computer. Though when I'm older and I live alone (I'm a teenager living with my parents) I will probably go ahead and do something with it.

Newegg is great. Even if I don't order something from them, I get ideas of what parts I'm looking for and really want to get.

I've never bought anything from Newegg, but I'll have to go give it a look-see. I'm always on the lookout for gadgets to make my computer more fun.

I have built two computers strictly from Newegg (my Dad's Father's Day gift 3 years ago and my brother's 2year) Never had any problems. As has been said before the bigges two draw backs from Newegg are the return policies and the pricing. The pricing is usually within a few dollars of other sites but the good part is that Newegg ships dang near world wide... (or at least to FPO and APO boxes for military)

Seems like NewEgg has got pretty good reviews from their customers. Personally hasn't had a chance to buy anything from them before. But if I do, these reviews are fabulous to have in mind.
