Post - Nintendo Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!

So,
My friend just bought a wii and i thopught I would write some impressions and stuff.

First off; The thing is beautiful! Sleek white with no unnessesary nic-nacks. The fact that you keep it standing sideways (with the dock enclosed in the packaging), get wireless controllers as standard and the fact that you can get a good workout just pplaying around for a few hours should be enough... But NOOO; Itīs the most fun Iīve had in years!

The games that are currently in stock arenīt much, but they really show the potential of this machine, and the control system.

Games Iīve played: Wii sports, Rayman and Zelda:twilight princess.

Of the three Zelda ofcourse tops the list, but for heartedly fun gaming, Rayman sure made me laugh! The point of the game is to complete various challenges forced upon you by the evil rabbits. and these vary from milking cows to shooting rabbits with a plunger gun in FPS mode.

I havenīt laughed this much in months.
The best feature of the console is the fact that if you get into the game and play for a few hours, preferably standing up, you get a serious workout me and my friend played boxing on wii sports for 3 houyrs straight, and it got really tirering <--(i dunno)

just thought you guys should know

This thing does look cool, I'm thinking about getting one so we have some fun time with my 40" coming Tuesday

I love how you move the controller, everything I have seen is nothing but people having a BLAST...

I'm not really that interested in consiles although I do have a modded xbox which I use to stream movies and music but thats it. The Wii though makes me want to buy it just for the fun factor it would be great at parties!!!

The Wii looks very fun to be honest...but I'm not sure if I'd get one...the only console that interests me at this moment is the Microsoft Xbox 360...which I plan to get in December this year.

I'm not much of a gamer. I don't even have the XBox 360. And it came out when... last year? I want to wait for the next XBox.

Yes, those controllers can be quite dangerous. Especially when you have a five and seven year old playing. It is a fun system though.

We thought about getting a Wii, but since they're so hard to keep in stores, it's kind of hard to do. So, we got a used GameCube. I'm sure we'll get the Wii when they're a little more available, and when they have more than just a few games.
