Just came across this one of a Norwegian news site..

According to Google the shortest (best??) way from New York to Oslo (Norway) is to swim 3462 miles across the Atlantic Ocean and them go up again in France and take the roads from there..
23. Swim across the Atlantic Ocean 3,462 mi

But I'm not so sure if that's the best way or not yet.
It could be easier just to swim north of the UK and go directly ashore in Norway..

But it also suggests that you go ashore in France if you're going to London, so I'm not sure if I trust these directions or not anymore since everyone knows that it's best to swim to Germany first to pick up some German beer before heading over to London again..

That's useful =) Or you could just catch the aeroplane, might cost a little more but your journey takes about a year less on average!

Now THAT'S multi-tasking!

By the way, if you're swimming from the US and you're dedicated to the domestic beer there, you may have to train with European beer for awhile.

It'll be fun! Cheers!
