Post - Photoshop to html/php

I've made my design in Photoshop.
Is there a way to convert my photoshop file into a html file that automatically does my tables and layout based on my photoshop design? Or...something similar to what I'm trying to say?
If there is a way, could someone tell me how to do it please?

You must get all slicey in photoshop and slice your layout...

I dont really use it much so I wouldn't be one to ask on how to do it well....

I'm sure with some practice it might work well...

Humn, theoretically you could but at the end the site will be solely based on graphics. Loading a page full of images take quite some time.

There are some web design freelancer or company that provide the service to convert your design into proper HTML/CSS. You might want to try those out if you don't mind paying some money......

Well no your site wont soley be based on graphics photoshop will spit out a html file with tables, css, and so on....It will provide all the spacer images plus it will optimize the images for loading...and loading many little images is better then loading one big image...

I personally found the output code garbage though...

Here is a tutorial on how to slice your layout in photoshop

And a whole bunch of sites from a simple Google search

Some more tutorials

Humn, I did not know that we can do that. I always thought we need to manually convert them. Which is why these design company provide their instant html conversion service.

Thanks for the info!

No problem. Be warned though the output code is not that great and it will take some practice slicing...

There really is no one perfect way to do anything so you basically have to use all the tools available to make a decent site; like a graphics editor and a web developer/text editor, etc.

The code that Photoshop gives you leaves much to be desired and will require editing, however it will give you a good frame work to start with, it really depends on your scripting skills though. See it would be much faster, easier, and more efficient if you where good enough with CSS and HTML to just make the layout raw first hand and then make the images in Photoshop to fit the layout you created. (using pixel dimension etc.)
