Ooops, I see that now..

60C on full load on the CPU isn't very health in the long run, so I don't recommend you to overclock it as much as you have now Big_Z, at least not without getting a new cooler...

I personally don't like temps much over 50C on load...

So what are your GPU temperatures on idle and load then Big_Z??

Sorry about the off topic, I didn't think the forum has grown enough to get a response from a new topic. I am not sure what the gpu temp is at the moment. That full load was with both cpu's at 100% load btw.

You should really keep an eye on the GPU temps when overclocking that much...
At those settings it's quite easy to fry it if you don't have enough cooling.

I'll post my screenshots later, but for now, my 3dMark 06 score is about 15983. That should only get better when I start overclocking, of course! I'll post that improvement eventually too.

That's not bad at all, my 8800GTX will scrape 80 degrees C stock, and barely under load. I thought it was me airflow, but I stuck an extra fan near it to keep air moving, and save difference. I checked, and it just happens to be a hot card.

Still leaves a bit of room for overclocking. Eventually I may invest in a waterblock for the card; I already have the loop on my CPU anyway, I can spare an extra block or two on my pump.

That's pretty impressive!
What kind of computer do you have?
(CPU, Graphics, Motherboard, Memory...)

Very nice setup! I have the Enermax Galaxy 1000W, and I love it. The sleeves come up short on a few wires and its real bulky, but other than that the modular aspects are nice and I only hear good things for reliability.

Now, you are getting the X6850, right?

I was just making sure you weren't getting the QX6850. Not that I have anything against it, just didn't think it had even been released yet.

My friend just ordered a computer based on a Q6600, and I'm looking forward to seeing how that thing clocked up. He is watercooling, so it should peak in the mid to high 3 Ghz range, we are hoping.

I just want him to do it and hurry up already, none of my friend can run Supreme Commander...
