Okay so I´ve had enough! My laptop is seriously annoyingme and i say;
SCREW WINDOWS!!

I´m installing Linux!

Windows is great on my stationary, but on my laptop it´s a different story... I´m sick and tired of all the *#%#@ problems it´s causing...

just thought you guys should know....

Any help would be apreciated guys!

Believe it or not, I am installing a copy of Ubuntu as we speak (or type) on a second computer. I was dismayed by the first distribution of Ubuntu but recent visists to their web site proves my opinion wrong.

I've used it on my portable for 6 months now, and I like it very much so far.
Very easy to install and use, and WLAN worked right away..

I hear that thet DL speed is mouch better on linux. can you confirm this?

Time to install on the second machine and get rid of Mandrake. Must be the first time in half a decade I am mass installing a new OS but change is good.
