Topic Sonic Versus Mario

Which one is better in your opinion? I think I'll always be a Mario fan, but the Sonic games, especially the ones that have Tails in them, have always been my favorite games. A helicopter-flying fox is just too cute for words!

Ooo that's a bit hard to pick there, nice one!
I think i would have to be difficult here and say i like them both, it's too hard to pick a best one.
Sonic has been around for ages and so has Mario but they are both really great games to play but really nice post, like to see how many like each of them.

Hmm, am I to presume that Sonic would be your preferred choice?

I personally never managed to play Sonic too well, so never really got into it, therefore I prefer Mario, and even that manages to defeat me a lot of the time. But still I go back and endeaver to finish at least one, please.

I always preferred SEGA to Nintendo, so naturally I preferred Sonic.

But yeah I do like mario a lot as well. But I have a special bond with sonic and sega that I got from my childhood.

I was never allowed to have consoles when I was a kid so when I went to my cousin's house and got to play the first Mario on their NES it was a real treat.

They got Genesis later and we played Sonic quite a bit but always went back to Mario. There is just something irresistible about that plumber.

I'm a Mario man through and through.
