Post - Types of freelance jobs?

I'm mostly doing web/print design and programming, but I sometimes write as well and photograph (only artistic jobs though - for magazine content).

Just sign up to be an AC Content Producer and then you can use the online publishing tools to submit all types of content (articles, video, audio, images) on the topics you choose. It's a great way to show what you know to the world. And, you can even get paid for your content submissions- twice! After you submit your content, they review it and make an offer. That offer is usually between $3 and $20. That's your first "upfront" payment. Then, you can earn a monthly "Performance Bonus" based on the number of visits to your content. The more popular your content is, the more you can earn. I have just started on this and it says your account doesnt have to be verified on paypal but you have to be at least 18 years old and live in the U.S.

I know a couple of people that have had things published on Associated Content. However, they haven't been too thrilled with the pay they've received. I think it's rare that anyone actually earns $20 for one article.

I actually know a few people who have earned that much per article, but it takes some time.

Does anyone know if there is an affiliated site for Canadians? I find there are fewer opportunities for Canadians (or I just don't know where to find them) but a lot of sites that offer writing opportunities, or contests, or photography publishing seem to be for US residents.

Hi sbarber77. I'm in Canada and I've sold content at Constant Content:

I'm glad to hear that AC is working out for some folks, but I have heard some bad things about it from others at the Absolute Write forums.

Best of luck to everybody submitting wherever it is.

Thanks for the post (and the new ideas of places to sell articles!), it's appreciated.
