O.k i have heard about them but how legal are they? are they allowed to be used to verify such accounts as paypal, ebay, etc? How many people actually use them and how do they work.
I never knew about that, i didn't know paypal had credit cards, it's a shame that it's only for the U.K i wouldn't mind one of those they look very nice lol, but then again i don't think that one is the same as the Vcc that people talk about or is it ?
Why would they be illegal, out of curiosity? I haven't used them at any point, but I know many people who use them for sites that they don't particularly trust.
Then again, my normal credit card gives me better chargeback protection than I imagine a prepaid would.

Sorry i wasn't trying to say that they are illegal or legal, i was just simply asking, as an example if i used it with my Paypal account would my account get suspended, i was asking in that kind of way sorry, i was just being curious lol.
VCC are legal. VCC enables you to hide your credit card information. The VCC code is valid till 24 hours before it gets invalid. But once used to verify your paypal, the accounts stays verified for 4 months.
There are different types of VCC for paypal, ebay etc.
I verified paypal account with a VCC and it is legal.
I do have a true virtual creditcard as a free service through my bank, which is a program that generates a code which is vailed for the period you specify, can be a month or a year. It can be closed at anytime. You also specefy the balance that number should have and the "e-store" can not charge more then 5% extra of the specified ammount. It's great! Never had any problems and I've been using it for 3 - 4 years now
