Who here reads Wired Magazine, its my favorite magazine of all the 1000 of magazines out there. I puts geek with social, giving you a very good read on all the articles.
You know, I've been thinking to sign up for a wired/online magazine but I came up to the conclusion that I won't even read it since I won't be able to see a hard copy of it. I don't think it is the same thing.
I have been a subscriber to Popular Science now for almost 10 years. When i read my first edition of Wired that i got in a care package i subscribed the next day. Wired does a great job of balancing out the hard core geek with the Nerd on the fringe... (Geeks are ppl that bask in nerdiness / weirdness and Nerds are ppl that can't figure out why others think they are weird). Insightful articles from a programmer that murdered his wife to how Google earth was born. In a recent issue there was an interview with a man that used ppl on the internet to solve real world problems. I highly recommend that you give it a read!
If someone is a fan of technology, and gadgets and gizmos, then they will love Wired magazine. It is full of the latest technology news and gadget releases. I love it!!!! I used to read Digit magazine and other PC magazines but i found Wired magazine the best out of the lot.
Wired is my brother's favorite magazine. It's a little too techie for me, but I leaf through his copies and get a kick out of some of the gadgets. I think a subscription would make a great Christmas gift for your favorite geek
