I'm ok with it, I appreciate the fact that I would rather have new features on the docs that I and I alone will open, and can always convert for those that need it.
Well, i would prefer having being told that some features cannot be used, rather than forgetting to save in .doc format and end up not being able to edit the file when i use another computer.

Well... then use Word 03.... Word 07 with no new features is Word 03. Saves in Word 03 format automatically and everything. You lose a pretty interface and an active word counter, but who would pay $150 for that alone?

I like Office 2007 a lot. They finally made the whole thing look somewhat pretty. Its easy to use and creating beautiful work has become a lot more easier. No more having to shift things around. I really like the tabbed interface. Its easier to find what you are looking for and as a whole it just works. I beta testest it on XP before it came out and even then it was great.
