I have a friend that creates everything from scratch. Well, maybe I ought to verify that with her. I think she might borrow some code now and then. But, generally, her websites are her own creation. Makes me wonder, though, if there are so many options, why anyone would chose to create them from scratch?

I'm going to install Joomla on my uncle's server, I'm not very up-to-date with things like that so it might turn out to be a little difficult

I use www.blogger.com aka blogspot. It's pretty limited in features but has enough for a good-enough blog. The hosting is stable too, consdering that it's a google company. And theyhave added this feature where we can use our own domain name.

I'm using Wordpress.
With all the addons and customizability it has, you can build a site of any type you need with it.

Wordpress by far, it is free and very professional. I wouldn't even think about going to any of the others,

I use WordPress as either part of or all of three of my sites. It does have a few deficiencies but is far above the others. I am curious to see a CMS that turns VB into a site. I caught it briefly and have to get back to check it out.

I have a couple of blogger blogs and I have one Wordpress blog. I like Wordpress better since it really looks good.

I'm going to build a fansite next month and I'm going to use Cute News. I just want to try it out.

I use Blogspot now after switching from Wordpress. I liked a lot of things about Wordpress, but all in all I found it a touch confusing and didn't like the fact that you couldn't display Google Adsense ads on your page. heir layouts also left something to be desired, and with Blogspot you can very easily change colors and fonts around with the layout you choose. That's just my preference though.

Though I have a blogspot site (just because it allows ads), I find Wordpress the neatest. Interface choices are many, customization is not too much of a problem. Most professional bloggers I know use Wordpress.
